Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. As a child of strictly Jewish background she moved from Wayne into New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of the Arts. Soon after, she was involved in the club scene, creating enough controversy that she caught the interest of the media. Eventually she used her training along with her fame and training to write and compose the musical Positive Me and was also in the show. Then she was recruited by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. The actress began appearing in TV and film productions after the series ended. Initially, she was in smaller roles.
